Our Story
Look, we didn't start Nexor Continuum just to be another gym in Vancouver. We built this place because we were tired of seeing athletes plateau, tired of cookie-cutter programs, and honestly tired of facilities that didn't give a damn about actual results.
Back in 2019, our founder Marcus Chen was rehabbing from a torn ACL and couldn't find a single spot in the city that combined legit strength training with proper recovery protocols. Everything was either hardcore lifting with zero mobility work, or fancy boutique studios that were all show and no substance. So he did what any frustrated athlete would do - he gathered a crew of certified coaches who actually cared about the science behind performance, found this spot on Burrard, and we've been pushing limits ever since.
We're not gonna sell you some magical transformation story. Real progress takes work, dedication, and the right guidance. What we will promise is a team that's been in the trenches - our coaches have competed at national levels, worked with pro athletes, and yeah, we've all dealt with injuries and comebacks ourselves. That real-world experience matters when you're trying to break through your own barriers.
Started with just 800 square feet and three coaches who believed training should be smarter, not just harder. Our first members were mostly word-of-mouth athletes who'd hit walls elsewhere.
When COVID hit, we didn't just shut down and wait. Built out virtual coaching programs, outdoor training sessions at local parks, and honestly learned a ton about adaptability that still shapes how we operate.
Moved to our current 4,500 sq ft facility and added the recovery suite. Brought on two sports physiotherapists because we realized you can't just beat your body up without proper regeneration protocols.
Added dedicated Olympic weightlifting coaching after demand from our competitive athletes. Certified three more coaches through NCCP and started hosting monthly lifting meets.
Partnered with registered dietitians because we kept seeing people train their asses off but fuel like garbage. Now nutrition planning is baked into most of our programs.
We've trained over 800 athletes, sent six members to national competitions, and built a community that actually shows up for each other. That's what we're most proud of, honestly.
Our team isn't just certified - they've lived this stuff. Every coach brings real competition experience, ongoing education, and the kind of knowledge you only get from years of actual practice.

Jamie doesn't do extreme diets or weird restrictions. They focus on sustainable nutrition that supports your training without making you miserable. Real talk about food, backed by actual science, with meal plans that don't require you to be a chef.
At the end of the day, we're here because we believe everyone deserves access to high-quality coaching and programming. Not just elite athletes - anyone who's willing to put in the work and wants genuine guidance. We've seen too many people waste years doing ineffective training or getting hurt because they didn't have proper support.
Our continuum philosophy is simple - progress isn't linear, it's a journey with ups and downs. We meet you where you're at, build from there, and adjust as life throws curveballs. No judgment, no BS, just honest coaching and a community that's got your back.
